Nigerian-American Yvonne Orji has announced that her autobiographical comedy is set to be developed into a series by renowned actor and producer David Oyelowo and Oprah Winfrey.
The comedian made the revelation on her official Instagram page.
According to VARIETY Yvonne's comedy series is titled First Gen. The series is said to be based on Yvonne's personal experiences growing up as a Nigerian immigrant in America.
Oprah Winfrey and David Oyelowo are said to be the producers of the comedy series.
In her post on social media, Yvonne expressed gratitude to God for open doors. adding that after receiving a no five years later, her new project kicks off.
She thanked Oprah Winfrey and David Oyelowo for believing in her dreams.
