The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in Anambra recently celebrated 12 corp members who found love during their service year in the state.
The 2019 Batch C couples include Eze Obinwa, Oluchi peace, Henry Nwachoko, Charles Ruth, Oluchukwu Davis, and Ohale Nkemakolam.
Nsofor Obianuju, Ogberie Collins, Nwokearu Chinyeremaka, Bernard Faith Amarachi, and Okafor Chukwudi all met while they were still serving in the state.
According to the NYSC Anambra state Facebook page, the corpers are married while some are alaready expecting their babies.
The couples were celebrated, given beautiful gifts and cash by the state.
The celebration of the corp members took place at the state's capital and it witnessed the attendance of the state's coordinator, Mr Kehinde Aremu, and the assistant director, NYSC south-east area, Mrs Ify Nwafor.
Nwafor stated that people embark on NYSC for different reasons and one of them includes the chance to meet the love of their lives.
Some of the couples noted that they met one another at different locations like the morning prayers at the orientation camp, Onitsha park among others.
Chukwudi was attracted to Ifeoma the first time he saw her in the church in 2018 but she stated that she was not interested in any kind of relationship.
They, however, became friends, and it later blossomed into a relationship.
