Heavyweight boxing champion, Anthony Joshua will take a massive pay cut to realize the highly anticipated bout with Gypsy King Tyson Fury in the UK.

According to reports, the two-time champion is ready to forego the tempting amount that will come with the fight if it is staged in countries like Saudi Arabia.

British pair of Joshua and Fury holds all five world heavyweight titles between them and they are likely to face each other in 2021 with the winner becoming 'Undisputed', Legit said.

And Joshua who is set to fight Kubrat Pulev at the O2 Arena in London on December 12 has stated that he is forfeiting as much as £8million just to ensure the fight holds in the UK, reports Legit.

He further asserted that should he defeat the Bulgarian, he would love the battle with the Gypsy King to also hold in the UK.

"Yeah, why not? Now I'm fighting Kubrat Pulev for a massive pay cut," he replied when asked about fighting Fury in the UK - in SunSport.

"We have to keep the sport alive, Matchroom are taking pay cuts this year, we have to keep the sport alive."We are all doing our part at the minute, It's all experience. We are doing it now so I wouldn't mind doing it again.

"It's not harming me, and it's for a bigger cause as well, it's a massive cause and a big fight but the main objective is how do we get Fury in the ring."

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, it was confirmed that the bout between Joshua and Pulev will have a maximum of 1000 fans in attendance.
