Manchester United have gotten their champions league qualification back on track after beating Chelsea 2-0 at the Stamford Bridge.

United were 9th on the log before Monday night's match but moved two places up to 7th behind Sheffield united who stay 6th with a point gap.

Anthony Martial opened the scoring for the Red Devils with a sublime header following a superb delivery from Wan-Bissaka.

Chelsea were unlucky to have two of their goals cancelled by the VAR.

Captain Harry Maguire, who was lucky to remain on the pitch after kicking Michy Batshuayi, netted the second for United in the second half through a corner kick by new signing, Bruno Fernandes.

Maguire's goal placed Manchester United three points behind fourth placed Chelsea and two behind fifth placed Tottenham.

Chelsea could have gone 3-0 down but for Caballero's intervention, denying Nigerian striker, Odion Ighalo a debut goal.
