Dwayne Johnson's daughter to become full-time wrestler, signs with WWE

Simone Johnson, the daughter of WWE star, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson has signed a deal with the World Wrestling Entertainment to become a full-time wrestler.

This was made public in an announcement by the WWE Network that Simone has signed with WWE and set to begin her training at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando.

Taking to Instagram, an elated Simone said: " To the little girl who fell in love with wrestling & said “this will be my life one day”, this is for you. I’m humbled, grateful & ready to work. Let’s do this."



Simone Johnson in an interview with the WWE Network also said;

“It means the world to me. To know that my family has such a personal connection to wrestling is really special to me and I feel grateful to have the opportunity, not only to wrestle but to carry on that legacy.”

Recall that Dwayne Johnson's father died last month of a pulmonary embolism caused by a blood clot that traveled from a deep vein thrombosis in his leg. Dwayne paid him a tribute, stating "I'm in pain" and “You lived a very full, very hard, barrier-breaking life and left it all in the ring.

His father was also a WWE superstar.
