Nigeria's COVID-19 cases rise to 30,748

The number of OCVID-19 infections in Nigeria has now risen to a total of 30,748, after the Nigeria Center for Disease Control, NCDC, recorded 499 new cases on Thursday.

The centre disclosed this on its official Twitter handle, @NCDCgov.

According to the statistics, Lagos State recorded 157 cases, while Edo State followed with 59 cases.

“30748 confirmed cases, 12,546 patients have been discharged, with 689 deaths recorded,” the NCDC said.
