Reverend Laurie Idahosa of Church of God Mission International has said that her late father-in-law, Archbishop Benson Idahosa, would have abided by the COVID-19 guidelines given to churches.

She stated this on Instagram after she was asked if the late archbishop who was popular for his miracles would have worn a face mask to protect himself from COVID-19.

In response to the question, Laurie Idahosa who advocates for adherence to the guidelines said of Benson Idahosa: "He was a law-abiding citizen".

She also revealed that despite the adherence to the guidelines by churches, miracles and wonders are still being experienced.

According to her, "God is not limited by a mask. We are still experiencing miracles, signs and wonders. We are still seeing people give their lives to Christ".

In favour of face mask in churches, she wrote: "Wearing your face mask in church does not affect your connection to God in any way. His presence cannot be limited by social distancing and by honouring the governmental health and safety measures".
