Aso Rock Assistant Director of Administration assassinated

The Assistant Director of Administration in the State House, Abuja, Ms Laetitia Naankang Dagan, has been assassinated by gunmen on Monday.

The Aso Rock staff who closed work by 8 p.m and left for home was killed at her residence at Lokogoma, an outskirt of the Abuja city centre.

Permanent Secretary, State House, Jalal Arabi, who paid her family a condolence visit stated that her death is “a painful loss, not only to her immediate family but also the entire State House.

“She was a dedicated, hard-working officer, and we all feel pained by her dastardly and untimely death,” Arabi told her family members during a condolence visit.

The Permanent Secretary via a statement signed by Attah Esa, the State House Deputy Director Information, further said, “We all share in your grief and pains, but be consoled by the fact that she lived a good life and contributed her best to the services of her nation.”

PM News reported that she has Facebook and Instagram accounts, but very inactive.

Her last post on Facebook dated back to December 26, 2016 when she changed her profile picture and she reacted to comments by saying “Tbx y’all n happy new Year in advance.”

She also reacted to a comment by Hon. Goro on her profile picture, saying “Hon Goro, tnx. kwana biyu? Op Kuna aikin da kyau? Wishing u da best.”

On Instagram, her last post was on March 22, 2014, when she made a comment: “D more u look,d less u undastand.” She has 50 followers on Instagram and 360 friends on Facebook.

Information on her Facebook wall showed she went to St. Louis College, Jos, Nigeria; University of Jos and also studied at IIJ, Abuja.
